This site has been created as a learning gateway to the injustice of sharks.

If you have reached this site, then no doubt you have seen the animosity that we humans hand down to these so called “predators of the deep”

When you consider that 80% of all life forms on Earth lie beneath the surface, little is known of the animals we share this world with. Taken into account that sharks only make up a small percentage of this population, they are in deep trouble.

Over 150 million are slaughtered each year as the demand for shark products increases.

About a third of the 450 shark species are threatened with extinction, or are close to becoming threatened. Conservationists say "at this rate, sharks will be extinct before our grandchildren get to see them!"

As deadly as some sharks look, the fearsome fish are not unstoppable. Nearly 80 shark species are threatened or endangered. That means they may die out!
